The 2022 Southern Ohio District 14 Science Day will be virtual. The competition is open to students in grades 5-12 residing in Gallia, Lawrence, Pike, and Scioto counties. We are inviting you to join us in judging this event.

(For in-person District Science Day only) Orientation will be provided for all judges. Breakfast, lunch, and parking will be provided on the day of the event. Judges should plan for a half-day commitment. When you report to the Lyne Center (see main page for directions), please proceed to the main gym foyer for registration.

Virtual Southern Ohio District 14 Science Day 2022 Judges’ Schedule

March 17 – 21, 2022  Judging (both ratings and awards)
March 22 – 23, 2022  Re-judging, if necessary
March 26, 2022  Virtual Southern Ohio District 14 Science Day results released

We ask that judges be willing to assist with any additional judging that may arise after judging has already begun.


Southern Ohio District 14 Science Day 2023 Judges’ Schedule

7:30 am – 8:15 am  Check-in
8:15 am – 8:45 am  Judges’ orientation
9:00 am – 11:30 am  Judging of projects
11:30 am – 1:30 pm  Lunch/public viewing of projects
1:30 pm – 2:00 pm  Awards ceremony

We ask that judges not plan to leave as soon as they are done judging their initial assigned projects as there may be need for additional judging.
